De Tijdloze Foto’s is a stunning 400-page hardcover photo book featuring nearly 600 photographs of iconic artists. The book is a rare treasure trove of timeless music photography; an invitation to reminisce, evoke emotions and (re)experience music.
The photographs come from the private archives of Jan and Carline Goedefroid, a unique couple of rock photographers who made rock photography their double life's work. Their work, besides being unique in Europe and beyond, is above all an inexhaustible visual time document of more than half a century of pop and rock music.
Music photography doesn't get any more timeless.
We listen to our heroes with admiration, but we also like to see them. Literally and figuratively.
Goedefroit Music's archive contains an unparalleled treasure trove of music photos that fit seamlessly with De Tijdloze Radio and De Tijdloze 100 list, known Studio Brussel.
Personal portraits bring us face-to-face with the people behind the gods. In the matchless concert footage, we smell the sweat of Madonna, Dave Grohl, Bruce Springsteen, Amy Winehouse or Alex Turner in full action under sweltering stage lights.
For a moment, you are very close.
What you see is real. What you see is rock n' roll.
If you look closely, you can even hear what is happening.
